Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has responded to rumours that he is making moves to bring former Liverpool youngsters to the club. There were lots of speculations that Dominic Solanke, Harry Wilson and Ben Woodburn could be on their way to Rangers to play under Gerrard.
“Brandon Barker is speculation. There’s not enough room for all the wingers we’ve been linked with Ryan Kent, Harry Wilson and Jordan Jones. I don’t know how I’d fit them all in.
“I’m a fan of all the names, but it’s speculation. Dominic Solanke? Ben Woodburn? Also speculation. But we need more forward options,” Gerrard said.
The Reds legend said priority would be given to centre half stars that can support full back players. He confesses that a forward could be added and there are some players they are monitoring.
The 38-year old manager was recently praised online for his shouts during the club training session that went viral online. Fans said he seemed like a manager that could really change things at the blue side of Glasgow. He still has a long way to go considering the tasks in front of him and considering what Celtic have built within a short time.
