Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has said that he is extremely happy to welcome back Steven Gerrard into the team. Gerrard has missed the Reds' last three games against Everton, Blackpool and Wolves following his red card against Manchester United.

The Scot is hoping that Steven Gerrard's presence will provide a further boost to the team, as the resurgent side look to save their season.

He said: "Having Steven back is fantastic for everybody."
